PTron Tangent Evo Design & Features
The neckband headset has a simple design. The design and quality are decent.
Ptron branding is on the left side and the Volume Up/ Down, Power buttons, micro USB charging port and LED indicator light is on the right side. The neckband comes fitted with medium size buds.
They also come with a pair of small and large ear tips. The earbuds feature metal housings which look awesome.
These come fitted with earfins which can be removed. The neckband features two cable adjusters which can be used to reel back the wires.
The earbuds have magnets on the outer side which can snap to each other or to any metal surface. The neckband has Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and can be operated up to a distance of 10m.
They have an inbuilt microphone and basic voice prompts to tell users about the connection status, and battery level. The three physical buttons on the neckband can be used to pause/play music, answer/decline phone calls, increase/decrease volume levels and skip or go to the previous track.
The neckband doesn’t have a voice assistant support and an IP rating.
PTron Tangent Evo Performance
I connected these earbuds to my Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 mobile and found their sound quality awesome. The bass is decent and the sound profile is balanced.
The microphone quality is good. I even used microphone of this neckband to record sound for a video on our Youtube channel.
It takes 3 hours to charge and gives about 7 hours of playback. I use them during a walk or jog and I am impressed.
Verdict
Under 800, Ptron Tangent Evo is a great neckband for calling, music and sports. It has Bluetooth 5.0 and provides a wireless range of 10 metres.
It comes with a 1-year manufacturer warranty. You can buy them from Amazon.
