My Top 21 Online Shopping Purchases from Flipkart in 2014
Although I started online shopping in 2012,2014 was the biggest year in terms of both size and cost of items. The first product I bought online was a data card from Flipkart through mobile. From then on, I have been purchasing almost all things online from books to mobiles,television to refrigerator.
In this blog post, I am listing the top 21 items purchased by me in 2014 in terms of cost. The reason for writing this post is to show that there should be no second thoughts when you want to buy something online. Online shopping saves you time and money. You don't have to deal with nuisance sales people from offline shops. You don't have to leave the comfort of your home.You can check all the reviews and compare the prices from trusted online shopping sites.
I have bought from many online shopping sites. To name few, my first purchase was through Flipkart and after that,I have bought from Amazon, Snapdeal, Shopclues, Homeshop18, Tradus, Infibeam,eBay etc. Out of all these sites, I found Flipkart and Amazon best in terms of customer service and shipping time. However I bought most of the big products from Flipkart and Amazon was limited to products like books, mobile case etc.
Anyway following is the list of 21 items I bought from Flipkart in 2014 :
1) Samsung RT29HAJYASA/T 275 L Double Door Refrigerator
I bought this refrigerator for Rs.22540 after exchange for my old refrigerator which was taken by Flipkart for Rs.2000.This was the costliest purchase I had ever done online.
2) Toshiba 32P2305ZE 81.2 cm (32) LED TV
Our CRT TV's screen had gone half-pinkish in April. I started searching for best TV for our home. Just when we were set to purchase new TV from offline shop, Flipkart resumed selling TVs and that led to purchasing this TV from Flipkart. I bought it for Rs.21540.
3) Moto G (1st Gen)
Moto G 16 GB was my first android phone purchase and it was my third mobile purchase from Flipkart. I am currently using it. It is running on lollipop. I bought it for Rs.13999 in February. Now its second version Moto G 2014 is selling on Flipkart.
4) HP LaserJet - 1136 Multi-function Laser Printer
I was shelling a lot of money on print-outs and photocopies for my college assignments and projects . Then I researched the best laser printers in India and bought this printer for Rs.8990.
5) WD My Passport Ultra 2.5 inch 1 TB External Hard Drive
My laptop hard disk's capacity had got to the brim. That started my research for the best 1TB external hard disk. I bought this external hard disk for Rs.3779. You can read its review here .
6) Philips HL1632 500 Juicer Mixer Grinder
As the saying is "Let the old make way for the new". This juicer mixer grinder replaced old one and was bought for Rs.2619.7) Kent Gold 20 L Storage Water Purifier
After our old purifier got non-functional, I researched for the best UV purifiers and bought this water purifier for Rs.2550.

After my shoes started showing wear,I researched for best sports shoes under Rs.2000. I bought these shoes for my college commute for Rs.1756.
These shoes have awesome looks and sturdy build quality.
10) Stag Ninja Fire Table Tennis Racquet
This racquet was bought for Rs.1615 for my brother's participation in table tennis championship. My brother is very much into sports. I play a little badminton sometimes.
11) Puma Strike Fashion Ind. Running Shoes
These shoes were bought for my father's jogging purposes for Rs.1399.
12) Philips GC1905 Steam Iron
This steam iron was bought for Rs.1240.
13) Puma Atom Fashion Ind. Running Shoes
These shoes were bought for my brother for Rs.1189.
14) Urban Vastra Art Silk Sari
This sari was gifted by me to my mother. The price of sari was Rs.1049.
15) Puma New Power Cat Backpack
This backpack was bought for my brother for Rs.680.
16) Global Nomad Navy Slim Fit Men's Trousers
I bought these trousers for myself for Rs.662.
17) Lotto Snug Running Shoes
These shoes were bought for Rs.629.
18) SoundMAGIC ES 18 Earphone
After I bought Moto G,I was not satisfied with bundled earphones so I researched for best earphone under Rs.1000 and bought this earphone for Rs.599.
19) Sonata Superfibre Analog Watch - For Men
This watch was bought for my brother for Rs.569.
20) Global Nomad Men's Solid Casual Shirt
I bought this shirt for myself for Rs.550.
21) Converse Solid Men's Polo T-Shirt
I bought this awesome T-shirt for myself for Rs.462
